Yes, where the discipline designers, authority interfaces, information responsibilities and review powers are stated in the appointment.
What information is needed before concept design starts?
The architectural brief, area schedule, occupancy, utility information, project programme, fire-strategy status and intended procurement route form the minimum useful starting set.
Does an MEP appointment include every specialist design?
No. Specialist and contractor-design portions must be named, with performance criteria, coordination duties, review status and final design responsibility recorded.
